What are the "3Bs"?
Three dimensions of compatibility we score every match on: Brains (how you'll talk — communication style, love language, conflict), Brand (what you stand for — values, ambition, life purpose), and Body (how you live — lifestyle, energy, location). Each of your three daily picks is matched on a different B, and the chip on every card tells you which.
How does matching actually work?
Four specialist agents read your profile and every candidate's. Compatibility looks at 3Bs, lifestyle, and logistics. Values reads your green flags, dealbreakers, and beliefs. Conversation imagines how the first chat would actually go. Safety screens for the patterns that don't add up. The strongest fit per B shows up at your drop hour, with a short note from Coach on why.
Why three picks and not infinite swipe?
Two clear options — Pass or Connect — keep the rhythm calm and the bar honest. Three matches makes the moment intentional instead of a slot machine. When you and a match both Connect, a chat opens. One conversation at a time, until it resolves.
What if I don't like any of today's three?
Pass on all three. Your next drop arrives at the same hour tomorrow. You can also tighten your discovery preferences — age, distance, lifestyle, the long-distance toggle — anytime in Settings.
How does the app actually end?
It's a literal button. After your first IRL meetup, a "We're official" entry appears in the chat menu. When both of you tap it, matchmaking pauses for both — your daily drops stop, the chat becomes the heart of the relationship, and the app gets out of your way. Either of you can also undo it — both sides re-enter the matching pool, no shame, no data lost.
Does it work for long-distance?
Yes. The distance slider goes up to 160 km (100 mi) for nearby matching, or you can flip on the "open to long-distance" toggle to match across cities. When it's time to pick a venue, the app asks whose city you're meeting in — so the recommendations actually make sense.
Who can match with whom?
Datestiny is built for opposite-sex matching between Woman and Man profiles.
How much does it cost?
Free to install, free to set up, free to get your daily picks. You only pay when you actually want to message someone — Datestiny Pro unlocks Connect, monthly or annual, billed through the App Store. Charging you to swipe at nothing felt rude. Cancel anytime in Settings.
What about privacy and safety?
Face verification runs on your device — no biometric data is stored or transmitted. Your data lives on Firebase with strict security rules and isn't used to train any general-purpose AI. Block and report live one tap away inside any chat, and you can delete your account — profile, photos, matches and all — anytime from Settings.
